HOW MUCH OF YOUR ACTIVITY YIELDS?
In any human activity, just a small group of factors is responsible for the lion's share of results.
For example, just 20% of the salespeople earn 80% of the commissions.
20% of the authors sell 80% of the books.
20% of your daily activities generate 80% of your success and income.
And so on. ~~ Gary Bencivenga
So the question must be voiced, why do we spend so much time chasing after the 80% and not producing in the 20%? I have found myself guilty of this as well. Its really easy to get caught up in the work of fighting to be seen above the crowd. Well, since yes height has nothing to do with it, it has everything to do with being an effective marketer. Its about being relevant. Its about providing what our target market actually wants. Yes I use that word wants because so much of the time, my observation is that we try to persuade and convince.
No Amount of persuasion though actually motivates our prospect to buy. You can have the most incredible sales funnel that was ever created. It was put together by the pygmies of hindersand, in south eastern Tonga! Well that doesn't impress the prospect. If we don't meet his need it just doesn't matter, no sale!
Harry Browne teaches that in his book "How to Sell Anything," because when you actually find out what they want and you actually bring it to them, they buy, effortlessly! So its definitely time to change the tact out there, sell, sell, sell doesn't work! Its got limited shelf-life even in direct-sales. No amount of catchy headlines will scoop them up, no amount of PPC, no amount of friends, followers etc. It doesn't matter, bring them what they want! First of all find out! Hello, yes we ask questions, we don't assume!
I have to say, when I get an e-mail or a chat from someone and the first thing that I see is Hello, how are you, here's my link, join! I laugh because its so amateur and it never, never, did I say never works? My reaction, I try to be kind, Ide-freind! So how'd that sale go? Well, I have probably offend a few of you, I am sorry but you really have to hear this! I love MLM and I love the lifestyle it affords me, and I want it for everyone! There is enough to go around. There is an abundance! I wish the best to everyone!
And thats what I have to say today!
