I Grew My MLM Business Event To Event - My Top Twenty!

TOP TWENTY REASONS WHY YOU MUST BE AT MLM LEADERSHIP BUSINESS SKILLS TRAINING EVENTS
FOR THE SUCCESS OF YOUR BUSINESS!
EVERY SERIOUS LEADER IN NETWORK MARKETING MLM GO TO REGULAR LIVE TRAINING EVENTS
TO SHARPEN THEIR SKILLS AND GET BETTER AT THEIR BUSINESS.
So here are the major reasons why you need to break the piggy bank and go, it is an investment in the growth and progress of you MLM Network Marketing business. Its so easy to say can't afford it will go next time. But there is no way anyone that doesn't go can actually get the stuff you get from these from reading about it or someone telling you about it.
I have broken them down into the Top 20 (This is part 1)
20 -- COMMITMENT:
So much of the time we don't see any real results in our business until we first commit to do it. That means not just a "I will try attitude", but "I am in all the way." What that does is create a mindset that you are going to get it done. A whole different DNA occurs when that happens. Things start opening up for you in ways you may not imagine.
19 -- VALIDATION:
This is both for you and for your team. I can't think of a better way to justify all of your hard work over a period of time but to be validated. Sometimes its long in coming. But the first time you get to stand on that stage and introduce yourself and your partner, and your team can cheer for you, that is truly priceless!
18 -- INCREASE BELIEF
Your belief is going to grow exponentially! Enlarges the belief, makes you feel that it is real! Sometimes it is the first time that you truly do believe that you can really do it! The reason why this is so important is that until you get it straight from inside your head to your heart you are going to struggle. You will doubt you can easily be distracted or pulled off course.
17 -- GROWTH!!
Business Growth, Stay Open And Ready To Learn!
Come ready to learn, come open, don't be closed to new learning. If you are open you may find that there are many new things, or angles to this business that never occurred to you. You will not only learn in the formal presentations, but you will have opportunities to network with like-minded members of your company and learn from them. Seeing the business through new people and their enthusiasm can be very key as well.
I also have the opportunity to share what I have learned, and when I do I learn at a deeper level. Its so key to your business, so come open ready to learn!
16 -- EXPOSURE:
You make yourself stand out as a leader, you get noticed, you will get more help, you exhibit your desire to be teachable. You get a chance to shine!
15 -- NEW TOOLS AND METHODOLOGY:
They always unveil new tool and methodology and help you to learn old skills, tools and way of doing better. May hep you see things in a whole new and different light!
14 -- EXAMPLE:
As you grow your team and you are promoting these events you will need to be there to promote belief in them if you are making excuses, then so will your team.
13 -- QUESTIONS GET ANSWERED:
Go with a specific question or problem that you want to get answered. I always write them down, and then I watch to see if they get answered, if they do not I then go and ask them of my leaders, and I go clear to the top! Be A Detective Ask A Lot Of Question Of Leaders and Gurus In Your MLM
12 -- ASSOCIATION:
This is particularly key, you must associate with the leaders and the successful people if you expect to be the successful person yourself! Following In The Footsteps of Leaders watch for opportunities to rub shoulders with them!
11 -- INTERVIEW LEADERS FOR YOURSELF AND FOR TEAM
Make a special point to interview your leaders, get feed-back from them on what they believe would help you succeed. Pay close attention they will give you great gems that you will want to get written down!
I know the very first time that I went to a live even, I was like a deer in the headlights! It was like going to some kind of gala even where I had gotten the ticket by mistake. Well I did feel like I knew the people I was with and met some of the leaders. This was very key.
Just recently I went to my company event in (January) Dallas and now I not only know the names of Art Jonak, Judith May, Michael Dlouhy, Tom "Big Al" Shreider, to name a few. I can say I have also sat down with them, I have had a conversation with them and I can say that they are my friends! I also feel more open to the idea of actually picking up the phone and calling them when I need help.
10 -- REPETITION:
It always takes more than one time hearing something before you start to get it. LEADERSHIP:
This is especially key, because you may not realize it but growth and leadership is a key part of this, be willing to step up, help out and grow. Be more than a spectator!IMPLEMENT:Its only as valuable as what you actually apply and use, go over your notes and make plans to put into place the key things that you got from the training. It is through these events that I grew and changed, my belief grew, my skills and confidence grew, and that is what you can get from that. That is how you start to truly own your own life!
9 -- DETAIL:
I never miss a live event put on by my company. I know from experience that although they will certainly try, its totally impossible for our leaders to bring back all of the nuggets that they got. And actually you are getting their impression which is not what you would get anyway. Think about that. Everyone brings with them their own feelings, their own experience, so the experience is going to be different for everyone.
No two impressions will be identical! So its totally impossible to get the training from a power-packed event like what I just came back from and be able to give everything to everyone play-by-play! Also this may not seem fair but its true, you show yourself as a serious player when you come to the live events. When we decide that either we don't need the events or we are too busy or just can't find the money. We decide that we are not worthy of the dreams that we said we wanted.
I have been around long enough to watch those who go, and those who don't. Remember Jim Rohn's story about the Sower? Which one are we? The one that fell on good ground was the one that was teachable. He knew he didn't know it all and he was willing to sit at the feet of the great teachers! We must all bring ourselves there if we want to make progress in our business. Be willing to bring ourselves to the feet of the great teachers!
8 -- INCREASE YOUR AUTHORITY
Here is one more quick one. If team members are coming for the first time, make sure that they get an introduction, take advantage of the moment and get pictures, priceless!
7 -- TAKE NOTES AND ABSORB!
I used to try to absorb everything and then I would crash, loose all of my concentration. Its better now but this is a new skill if you think about it that way. Think of it as a long-term investment into your future. Its like going to school, it took some repetition before everything made any sense.
Take good notes, and make sure to read over them a few days after the event. Good leadership usually reinforce, which means you will be going over and making decisions on what to implement, because in the end, that is what matter what you will use.
Then take the action that you can!
6 -- INCREASES TEAM WORK
When I attend and meet with both my team and others in the company we find a synergy in the whole organization.
5 -- BUILD FROM EVENT TO EVENT
Make It a Habit Build Event to Event is Key To The Success Of Your MLM I learned early to go from event to event.
4 -- LOYALTY
This is very key. This is loyalty for the company and loyalty for your own team meaning the upline and your own downline.
3 -- UNIQUE TIPS FROM INDIVIDUALS
You can learn just from sitting in groups of people you don't know. If you can absolutely qualify for VIP seating so you can sit among the key leaders!
2 -- WHAT CAN YOU TAKE AWAY
What to get from it what do you plan to take away and implement? Applying and implementing is key here! If you don't find a way to use what you got its useless. I compare reading books -- read -- apply -- read again apply.
Each time you read you will find new ways to apply what you are learning. Same is true with live events, take notes, make sure to review them and make goals around what you intend to apply.
1 -- LIFE CHANGING:
Frankly I don't have any memory of any serious network marketing secrets on my first big event. What I can tell you is that I met a lot of people and it felt like family. I became one of those that had the ear of one of the leaders. What did it do for me? I know thats what you are asking! It gave me the yes I can attitude. Because if you want to know the one thing that makes or breaks a person in this profession, it is that belief. Because doubt will definitely play a part. There has to be enough belief to kill the doubt.
Can you do this without going to events, I haven't met anyone who has pulled that off. Maybe you will change those odds, I wouldn't bet on it. Because life gets in the way. And the doubting Thomas's in your life are always there!

So today make a decision, that you are going to make going to these events a part of your MLM experience. Just say to yourself that you are going, then watch how it makes you feel in power! I know you can do it!

  1. Great article. I like #18 - especially the impact it has on confidence. You need to be confident in what you can accomplish as well as what you're doing. Without confidence, there often is no passion...
